Places You Can Meet Single Christians

The first place that everyone can meet single Christians is of course church. With thousands of churches around the UK and if you are outside Britain the same probably applies, one might think meeting Christian singles – eligible Christian guys and girls serious about their faith should be an easy task. Obviously most churches have their singles well and truly looked after with specially organised get-togethers and meetups right?

Hmm I think the real answer is sadly no! Whilst some churches have taken the time out to concentrate on their young and older singles contingent, we believe the ones that aren’t should take it far more seriously since after all these singles are the churches future at large. I can remember when I was 25 wondering why on earth they didn’t put more resources into catering for singles but the conclusion I came to was that the whole ‘singles issue‘ in church was a someone taboo subject, and besides no body wanted to be labelled as ‘single’ back then.

15 years later things have changed a lot ion that front. Just about everybody would be willing to at least try a Christian singles service – especially the ones online where one is offered a certain amount of anonymity and you can privately view profiles and bookmark anyone you feel might interest you for contacting later.

Gone are the days when as I did you had to stump up quite a bit of courage to seek out and join a traditional dating agency – let alone tell anyone you had joined one – heavens no – these things were for the sad element of society only – those people that were socially inept and really had no hope. Despite that I do remember being bold enough to tell people raising more than one or two eyebrows. Looking back it seems quite amusing to think it was that hard!

So Where Can You Meet Single Christians?

Church! – you’ll need to be bold here is the goldfish bowl that churches often are! Make sure you join any social groups that exist and if are are non – talk to your pastor or vicar or priest and ask him if you can run an outing or social group. If not just collect the names and numbers of as many singles in the church you can and post a meeting date on the notice board. If possible get it on the church website too.

Meetups – visit meetup.com and see if you can locate any local Christian singles in your area. If there are no Christian singles groups in your area – start one!

Christian Dating Sites – there are a vast number of these – most do not really have your best interests at heart unfortunately and are rather more interested in your cash – so make sure you check that whichever Internet dating site you join is a) owned by Christians and b) in it for you! Watch out for free sites that don’t take the time to sweep out the scammers.

Christian Holidays – our recommended Christian holiday service is the great Oak Hall. There are several other good Christian companies that provide holidays for Christians and for obvious reasons these trips and tours are normally made up mostly of singles. Some even run singles cruises so be sure to Google for those.
